Delta community restates commitment to peaceful co-existence

EKPAN People in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State have restates commitment on peaceful co-eistence within themselves and to promote socio-economic activities of the community, that they have called on relevant government agencies and the people of Ekpan community to initiate into the peace accord as to maintain peaceful co-existence and live in harmony.

Raising from the stakeholders meeting with the state Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa recently in Asaba. The stakeholders observed that they would not do anything to truncate the peace agenda of Okowa administration or that of the Ekpan comminity. The final resolution to embrace peace in Ekpan community came after a long deliberation with the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa who addressed fundermental issues that have being affecting and igniting crisis within Ekpan political gladiators and some other interest groups within the community .

Governor Okowa urged all interest groups and political gladiators to work together and bring peace to the entire community. Okowa further chargers stakeholders to be more prayerful and not to allow anyone to distract them from maintaining peace and order in the community. that it is only when both aggrieved parties comes together befor development can come to the community, He warned

The Unuevworo of Ekpan , High Chief Newton Agbofodoh who commends the effort of the Governor , Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for setting up committee to look into the Ekpan crisis and brought both aggrieved members together he is really the man of the people.that now Ekpan community have move to a new phase , peace and tranquility have been bestow on the people of Ekpan.

The Unuevworo further chargers businessmen and women to go back to their normal businesses and all those who fled from the the community to now return back that normacy have return to the community.And also urged all principal office holders in the community , especially the Ekpan Development Committee, EDC, and the Youth committee to resumed their offices immidiately and worked henceforth for the progress of the community .that the youths of the community should key into the peace and security agenda of the State Governor, also in his words thanked and appreciate the effort of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his doggedness and his commitment to ensuring peace in his administration, he further assured the governor of their total support to the success of his SMART Agenda,

Also speaking Comr. Richard Idjai , the Ekpan youth President in reaction to the call on those who have relocated to other neighbouring communities , that peace have return to their homes and also thanked the Unuevworo of the community, High Chief Newton Agbofodoh for his spirirt of sportmanship and service to humanity. that with these development analysts will be of the view that hence forth Ekpan community will be safe for living and investment.
